Emacs minor-mode to display current Bitcoin price on the mode-line.

Installation

Your .emacs file should looks like:

(require 'btc-ticker)

;;Optional: You can setup the fetch interval
;;default: 10 secs
(setq btc-ticker-api-poll-interval 10)

;;Enable btc-ticker-mode
(btc-ticker-mode 1)

I get the following error trying to run btc-ticker-fetch:

Error: "Error running timer 'btc-ticker-fetch': (void-function function*)"
version (from melpa): 20151113.659
emacs: 24.5.1

Error with connecting the Bitstamp API

Hi There! Thanks for this useful package. It worked fine for many months.

But suddenly, when I'm sure nothing is changed in my extensive Emacs configuration, I got some errors when starting up Emacs, from btc-ticker. There are propabably issues when connecting with the Bitstamp API:

REQUEST [error] Error (error) while connecting to https://www.bitstamp.net/api/ticker/. [4 times]

Am I the only one here?
