I'm looking at wrapping Rome Fetcher (https://rometools.jira.com/wiki/display/FETCHER/Home, API is at http://www.jarvana.com/jarvana/view/net/java/dev/rome/rome-fetcher/1.0.0/rome-fetcher-1.0.0-javadoc.jar!/index.html) for a project and since I found clj-rome, I'm wondering if you like the idea of including the Fetcher wrapper in clj-rome? Or do you think two separate projects are a better idea?

Running this code in the REPL,

(def fetcher (build-url-fetcher :disk "/tmp/cache"))

(def fetched
      (with-fetcher fetcher
        (retrieve-feed "http://planet-muddev.disinterest.org/rss20.xml")))

results in the error,

<ClassCastException java.lang.ClassCastException: clojure.lang.Var$Unbound cannot be cast to clojure.lang.Symbol>

The reader example works as expected.

Do I need to somehow register converters in fetcher?

Which returns maps of links with title, rel, type and href ?

Using rome-fetcher it will convert a feed entry date to a form like this,

:date #inst "..."

However trying to read this date with (read-string ...) returns nil; it seems like this is a malformed instant literal value?
