Implement UI
UI needs a form with a single field for email/github username. On post needs to send to API Gateway URL which is generated as an output from the CFN stack
Write Lambda
Write the lambda code that handles a request to join the GitHub org. Need to utilise the GitHub API to add member to org. There should be existing python library for this.
- Validate Email
- Make API call to GitHub to add user to Org
- Send response to caller
Create AWS stack
Write CloudFormation template for deploying the lambda function to AWS.
Stack will probably need to include
- S3 bucket for lambda code
- S3 bucket for static hosting UI
- Authorization Lambda to avoid spam
- Lambda Function
- KMS for environment variables
- API Gateway
- IAM Role for Lambda
- Some form of logging
- URL Output
