Hey :)
I try to use the application and run it on a device. but I saw that there is no Gradle File here
how can i run the application?

Please add FAQ for useful info

I notice there is no FAQ. This would help with lots of questions, such as what is the model of power supply? where is the sim? etc.

Might I offer a first item?

Q: What power supply is used?
A: The PSU is a 2 amp, 24 volt, 4 pin DC Powersupply. Manafactured by Powertron, it is searchable on eBay with the model numbers: pa1060-240t1a250 or sometimes E248122.

Polarity and image are below

1-2 positive

Hardware

Any idea what's the battery used for? I have 2 of the AU Menulog devices and it would be nice to remove the printer and have the screen section

Proxy web is offline

Good afternoon, Is there something similar to the proxy since the web does not work? Thank you :)

Investigate existing efforts that could be adapted

https://github.com/solyarisoftware/posprinterdriver - uses web intents and android intents to more easily integrate website with the printer. This could potentially be a low fat way to add support to internal and led printer.

Depending on how responsive they are, we could either fork or push in directly a change to add an extra capability to it.

Edit: Ah its not open source or on F-Droid so we would need to make our own custom app... well I guess we could instead create an app that does something similar but is for any POS system with internal hardware (including CITAQ). But focused on web intents

Rewrite SDK in Android Studio

This is going to be quite useful as its easy for devs to directly experiment with controlling the led and printer via shell commands.

This will at least allow them to test if their hardware is working at a basic level before starting to code.

Also updated the readme to give a more specific pointer of what files to start to read to learn more on using it.

I've attempted to convert it to android studio, but hit a problem. I think the SDK is actually for eclipse IDE.

I think it's best to just use the SDK code as a reference instead and just manually rewrite it in android studio if needed.
