Thanks. We do support specifying arguments in projections now. We do not have support for aliases yet, and I've created a new issue: #539 to add to our roadmap. Thanks for bringing this up!

I just ran into this issue with aliases - it looks like this PR was never merged? Any chance of getting support for this type of query back on the roadmap?
