Hi @nvdnkpr, I believe the mask you want is:

title,items(caption,open),number,categories,shuffle

from json-mask.

just out of curiosity: what is the '/' for (in general) ? is there a special case ?

cause the main reason I was confused that the actual extraction worked as expected

from json-mask.

Ha! That's the motto of all scientists, I think.

The / is for selecting a single field. (e.g., a/b , {a: {b: 1, c: 2, d: 3}} -> {a: {b: 1}}) When you want to select more than one, use () (e.g, a(b,c) , {a: {b: 1, c: 2, d: 3}} -> {a: {b: 1, c: 2}}).

/() confuses the compiler.
