This is more a question than an issue. I havent been able to find the answer elsewhere.
Is there anyway to remove the "overheal" and "overkill" text on the combat text?
I find that its irrelevant information and that it clutters my screen.
I would like to delete triggers I don't use to keep my settings organized. Some of them are even for spells that don't even exist anymore such as Hammer of Wrath.
Parrot 2. The latest version which was uploaded to Curse on June 7th.

Can you add an option to disable in pvp battlegrounds and /or arenas? Similar to how you have for disabling in raids? I get most of the script ran too long errors while in BGs and it would be super if I could have parrot off in pvp situations.

Just got back into the game, did a character transfer, and noticed this error when trying to configure Parrot. Sorry, I can't tell you if this exception was caught prior to the transfer.
I tried turning off the Masque addon since I saw it in the error, but didn't make a difference.

I set up triggers for an Outlaw Rogue ability called Roll the Bones: https://i.imgur.com/Lnn0m8W.jpg
This ability applies a random buff, sometimes two buffs if you're lucky. The issue is when I use Roll the Bones a second time, if I get one of the same buffs I had previously, Parrot will sometimes not register this fact. Example: https://i.imgur.com/P1R57IE.jpg
Parrot should say Broadsides and Grand Melee, but it only recognizes Broadsides. The annoying thing is sometimes it does work properly! It's very inconsistent, which means I can't rely on Parrot to give me the information I need. And this may make the issue tricky to reproduce.

Currently the way the addon works when i cast a spell that deals damage over time, it shows the initial tic, then when it finishes it adds it all together.
For example, when i cast eyebeam, it shows the initial tic or two of the cast, then after the channel it shows the final value of 51686. Can the addon be updated to show one increasing damage event? Begin at the first tic of say, 3908, then the 2nd tic adds to the first damage event, so on and so forth, up to the final value?
this would be huge quality of life for havoc dh who have so many abilities that deal damage over a short burst of time. chaos strike/annihilation, blade dance/death sweep, eyebeam. it would drastically reduce clutter on screen as well as make the information more digestible.
also, for sticky crit colors, can the crit color be set to the entire thing, damage number as well, not just the (crit) trailer that follows the number?
In an effort to reduce clutter I would like for Parrot to only show critical strikes, but I couldn't find such a setting, only a hard damage filter which isn't very useful since different spells have different crit damage. Would it be possible to add such a feature?

Right now the static animation is working like this:
The new text will be placed to the opposite direction we set. Let's say we have static animation, and set the direction to "DOWN", then the new text will be placed to the "UP" direction of previous text, if there were lots texts going on, then those texts movement direction will look like upwards, since our text movement direction is actually set to "DOWN", so they will make the animation looks confusing.
I think this is due to right now the previous text does not move until certain time pass, we just need to change the way how it works. Whenever there is new text, put new text at where previous text was and move previous text to the direction we set , thus make the animation look consistent to one direction. If there is no new text, then keep where current text is, don't move it, and fade it out after certain time.
V2.0.10
No
Every time i change how the text should scroll to Down center, and change character it loops back to what it was before. I can change where the text is but the scroll direction always change back to default.
Some time's the scroll area settings will not show up at all.
v2.0.7
No.
Right now we can send critical to sticky, but sticky will overlap normal if set to same anchor point, if set to different anchor point, it takes too much space on screen.
Is it possible to add option that not sending critical to sticky, instead give critical second animation option within normal, like a simple "pow"?
(overheal appears to be shortened, but not the actual heal)
2.0.8 (afaik this was an existing issue in parrot)
Reposting this here
The curse client fails to unzip this when installing or updating. Something funky is going on with v2.0.4-6-g111eab0
I can manually download and extract it fine but if I try and go through the curse client it fails at unzipping. Never seen this one before
Was in a neths lair in mythic plus and this occurred twice
