steam-game-finder's Issues

[Feature Request] Ability to search friend list

When you click on a users friend list, it would be great if we could search for friends on that list instead of having to scroll through to find them.

I may be able to implement this myself and open a pull request.

Integrate co-optimus.com's multiplayer information

A site called co-optimus.com collects multiplayer information of games. It is particularly useful when more than 4 people planning to play together, because there are not many games that support that many co-op players.

I talked to the owners of the site, and asked them for API access in the hope of integrating it into this Steam Game Finder extension.

They made it available, so for example if we are interested in the Steam game with the application id of 359550, we can call http://api.co-optimus.com/games.php?search=true&steam=359550 and get back a game object.

This game object has an online property that indicates the maximum number of people who can play together with that particular game.

Would it be possible to show this information on the cards of the games in the extension, or even filter the results to those support at least x players?

Show installation size and current Steam price

The current filtering system is great already, so it's just a nice-to-have feature request. :)

Two of the currently not shown things that help us decide what to play with is installation size and current price on Steam (if not all of us have the game already).

So, it would be great to add these pieces of information to the card of the games in the search result.
I would imagine that installation size would be visible for all games, and price would be shown only for games that not all us have.

Error code: Out of Memory

When using the Edge extension I am receiving an error code that states: Out of Memory and seems to be the case when I have too many friends, say 10 or 11 selected at once and doing comparisons.

Sometimes when it is sitting idle on the site or just browsing through the games that are in common or who doesn't have certain ones.

See attached for screenshot of the issue encountered in Edge.

Add Steam recent/all review count, positive/negative ratio and release date filters

This extension is still one of my favorites, and it's a lot of fun to use when I look for a game to play with my gamer friends.

If it was not too difficult add, it would be great to have a few more filters for reviews and game release date.

Ideally we would have a filter for minimum review count, minimum positive/all ratio, recent x-day or all-time review selection.

Another filter option would be the release date, ideally with a range slider stopping at not just the years, but quarters too, so that we could filter the games for example between 2021Q3 and 2020Q1.

Thank you for you efforts!

Set up GitHub Sponsors for this repo

Hi, I tried to donate some money to you within Firefox using ko-fi, but it would have forced me to register at PayPal, which I prefer not to do.

I think if you set up GitHub Sponsors we might be able to give you financial support without PayPal ;)
There is a tutorial to set it up here.
