This repository is dedicated to learning about the technologies NestJS, Prisma ORM, and PostgresSQL. The API was developed with a focus on performance, scalability, and great development experience.

• NestJS - Node.js framework for building scalable applications
• Prisma ORM - ORM for databases, allows for secure and easy database management
• PostgresSQL - relational database management system

1. Clone the repository on your local machine.

$ git clone https://github.com/ndelanhese/nest-prisma-postgres.git

2. Navigate to the application directory.

$ cd nest-prisma-postgres

3. Install the dependencies using the package manager pnpm.

$ pnpm install

4. Start the development server.

$ pnpm run start:dev

The application will be available at http://localhost:3000.

• pnpm run start:dev - starts the development server
• pnpm run build - compiles the application for production
• pnpm run start - starts the application in production mode
• pnpm run migration:dev - runs database migrations in development environment
• pnpm run migration:prod - runs database migrations in production environment
