Thanks for the comment and suggestion.
It is not always easy to know what would be the minimum version supported, but we can at least specify the current version.
We will fix this quickly.

True, but it is often pretty easy to hazard a guess by glancing at the changelogs of the library. For instance, I doubt that kapture requires any features that were introduced to numpy after, say, version 1.15.0
Then you can run your tests against an environment that contains those guessed minimal versions to verify that they work. That at least provides people with some "head room".
