angulardart.org's Issues
Misc. tweaks may be in order: screenshots, tables, etc
- Chap. 1 screenshots should have shadow boarders like in Chap. 2 because they are white on white.
- Tables are still a bit difficult to read without internal boarders (index.html, Chap.4).
- In some cases ellipses is a single character and other three. Maybe be consistent. (Actually, I wasn't sure if the single character ellipse would case problems so I figured I would bring up the potential issue.)
Finish cleaning-up annotation class names in chapters 3 to 7.
This issue was originally reported here: angular.dart.tutorial/issues/54: the issue text reads:
In some places annotations are written as @annotation and others the @ is missing. In most cases the annotation names are show as plain text, but we put, e.g., directives in back ticks [i.e. format it as code], I think that annotations should be in back ticks too.
I have cleaned-up Chapter 2 via 7031a3c, but the other chapters should be cleaned up too.
Chapter 3, code / html excerpt mixed should be put in a table
In the section on Creating components we find the following excerpt is a bit difficult to make sense of without a very careful read:
@NgComponent(
selector: 'rating',
<rating></rating>
@NgController(
selector: '[recipe-book]',
<div recipe-book>
...
</div>
There is also the comment in the HTML:
<!-- PENDING: The following code is a little weird. Make it a table? -->
I definitely agree that this would read better as a table.
Chapter 6 subsection on "Application structure and organization" needs editing
This is just a port of the issue from angular / angular.dart.tutorial #51 since the tutorial prose has moved to this project. The original text was:
The prose in this section mentions that "we removed all of our custom components, filters, and services from the main.dart". There were no such entities in main.dart; and I am not sure which file is being referred to.
[tutorial] pretty printing is not working and footer nav looks squished
Not sure if these issues are already on someone's todo list, but just in case.
(1) When I browse the tutorial, pretty printing is not working for me; e.g. , from Chapter 1
Should prettify.min.js
be included, in the various chapters (and prettyPrint()
be triggered somehow)?
(2) This is the footer nav looks like to me:
regardless of how wide the window is.
