parametric_curve_fp's Issues

Simple 2d log curve - log not working

Very cool macro.

I'm trying to make some logarithmic fillets, using this, but it won't calculate a log for a simple 2d log curve. Am I missing something here?

copysign

Any chance you could add copysign to your functions?

copysign: lambda a, b: math.copysign(a,b)

a*b/abs(b) has to be special-cased for b = 0

update from spreadsheet not working for d1, d2, ...

Hi,

Thanks for providing this great tool!

I was stumbling over a problem when using a spreadsheet for variables d1, d2, etc. After recalculating the curve, the value for d1 ended up in d1 and in d2. I believe that the reason is a bug in updateFromSpreadsheet(self,fp):

    dd=0
    k = "d"+str(dd+1)
    new_d = []
    while hasattr(fp.Spreadsheet,k):
        new_d.append(str(getattr(fp.Spreadsheet,k)))
        k = "d"+str(dd+1)
        dd += 1

Here, "dd" should be incremented before the new value is asigned to "k", i.e. the last two lines should be the other way round.

Best,
Mike

Speeding up pyparsing

If you are finding pyparsing to be slow, you can try enabling packrat cacheing:

pyparsing.ParserElement.enablePackrat()

Other performance tips can be found on the pyparsing wiki: https://github.com/pyparsing/pyparsing/wiki/Performance-Tips

You might also find some features in the pyparsing spinoff plusminus interesting for your application.

Congrats on your application, I'll add you to the "Who's Using Pyparsing?" list on the wiki home page!
