mutwo.abjad is available on pypi and can be installed via pip:

Bug: Can't handle long rests or durations

When quantizing an event with very long duration mutwo will throw an error:

abjad.exceptions.AssignabilityError: not assignable duration: Duration(64, 1).

This should be fixed on mutwo side.

Improve integration tests

The integration tests need a standardized interface which avoids code repetition and ugly structures.

Refactor cumbersome, complicated class names

The explicit names of the classes NestedComplexEventToComplexEventToAbjadContainers, CycleBasedNestedComplexEventToComplexEventToAbjadContainers and TagBasedNestedComplexEventToComplexEventToAbjadContainers don't really help in making any understandable, but only make everything very unreadable. They should certainly be refactored to more understandable, shorter names.

Can't quantize very complex fractions

The quantizer (RMaker based) can't quantize complex fraction durations, a conversion is impossible.

Maybe we should add a pre-quantizer before sending this to abjad.

TODO: Add example, add test.
