GeoStats offers the following helper stat functions:

• min() : return the min value
• max() : return the max value
• sum() : return the sum of the population
• pop() : return the number of individuals
• mean() : return the mean
• median() : return the median
• variance() : return the variance
• stddev() : return the standard deviation
• cov() : return the coefficient of variation

GeoBuckets currently has calcStandardDeviation and calcMean internal functions as a byproduct of several of our implemented statistical methods.

Currently, I do not plan on implementing any more helper stat functions. At it's core, this library is a lightweight classification library, not a stats library. Most of the above helper functions are easily implemented and thus adoption into this library would largely be redundant.

This issue is to remain open for feedback on this topic. If many users request this functionality I will reconsider.

GeoBuckets is currently blocking. This currently is not an issue on moderate sized datasets. However, with substantial datasets this can be problematic. Adoption of non-blocking async / await would alleviate this issue
