A JavaScript error occurred in the main process
Uncaught Exception:
TypeError: Cannot read property 'isDestoryed' of undefined
at App.app.on (/home/asikomov/SoundKeys/main.js:20:10)
at emitOne (events.js:101:20)
at App.emit (events.js:188:7)

This happens when I close the app using the close button(cross button) on the top left corner in linux(ubuntu).

Project looking interesting.

How do I build/run this on Mac or Linux? Should be easy given the Electron framework.

Building from source using your instructions i get the following error.

The mini player design could use a touch up. The resources in use are located here.
Feel free to move away from FontAwesome. Put additional resources in assets.

Refer CONTRIBUTING and README.md to get started.
Comment if you need other help.

The double down arrow button, which I'm assuming you click when you want the mini player, doesn't do anything. Windows 10. I didn't build it I installed it.
