This assignment was meant to be a very easy introduction to the Blockchain and the Go programming language. It was really easy, and thanks for doing it.

You also revealed a flaw in our prework test suite. :) It doesn't check to see that you actually added the block to the blockchain. We should've checked the length of Blockchain after add. It's okay, our tests were incomplete. But you should've tried to fill it in. For reference, you should have:

• Checked the block was valid
• Appended to the Blockchain variable.

In the class we'll be moving on quickly to more "higher level constructs", like building contracts and deploying to the actual blockchains. But the knowledge of how a basic blockchain data structure works is really fundamental and important.

You should be receiving an acceptance email soon with more instructions. Thanks again for taking the time to complete this easy assignment. Don't worry, future assignments will be a lot harder ;). Every CoderSchool assignment comes with "extra credit" requirements. You didn't finish any this time, but I hope to see you do some next time! Also you can always fix future bugs. ;)
