To test that you have Node.js and npm correctly installed on your machine, you can type

node --version

Add the the Firebase details under .env

 # .env
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_API_KEY= (Firebase API KEY)
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN= (Authorized domain)
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_DATABASE_URL= (Firestore database URL)
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID= (Project ID Firebase)
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_SENDER_ID=(Sender ID)
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_APP_ID=( App ID)

To install

 npm install --save firebase
