"list" command line option

Provide a way to load that list of hosts automatically from the command
line instead of having to load it through the pull down menu after the
program starts.

Add the (exclusive) command line option "list" + filename.

Thumbnail shifts after disconnect when double-clicking

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When a thumbnail is double-clicked, it is REMOVED from the list of
thumbnails and a full-size windows is brought up.
2. After this window is closed, the thumbnail is ADDED to the end of the
list of thumbnails.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
This is the expected behavior based on how the programming is implemented.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.4.2, on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit

Please provide any additional information below.
A suggested alternate behavior would be to terminate the connection on the
thumbnail without removing it, and launch the full-size window. When the
window is closed, tell the thumbnail to reconnect. A side benefit of this
would be the possibility of adding a "custom viewer" command, which could
be executed instead of the built-in full-size viewer. When the thumbnail is
double-clicked, the thumbnail disconnects and launches the specified
external program (possibly passing command-line parameters specifying the
host/username/password/options to allow for automatic connection). Upon
this program's termination, the thumbnail knows to reconnect itself. I
would like to see this latter feature because I use RealVNC at work, and
enjoy the multiple monitor, fullscreen, and scaling features that it includes.

to the selected directory then unzips it.

Load list of hosts doesn't work

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.run on a windows system (It fails on Mac OSX Leopard also)
2.create 2 ms auth hosts with domain\username format
3.save your list as an xml file
(note to dev, you might want to force this or at least make it the default
extension instead of the "All Files *.*")
4.exit out of thumbnailviewer
5.run Thumbnailviewer again
6.try to “Load List of Hosts”

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

expect to see the thumbnails of the hosts
I see-- nothing loads

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
this is a cut n paste from what I wrote on the devs blog

OK I didn’t try to do the Jar from my MAC but I did try from my Win XP
using the windows exe and the “Load List of Hosts” fails there too.
Error message in the command box:

Loading file… file format version 1.4 encrypted(false)
ERROR: Password or Username missing for MsAuth
LOAD Host: ccpad01 Port: 5900 SecType: -6
ERROR: Password or Username missing for MsAuth
LOAD Host: ccpad02 Port: 5900 SecType: -6

Here is my XML file:passwords were X’ed out

When I load these in manually they work, just not from the list. At first
I thought that the space in my user name was causing this but then I tried
an account that didn’t have any spaces in the name. I next thought is that
somehow the “Load List of Hosts” is having a problem with domain\username
<–this does work when loading manually.
I am going to try to find your bug tracking website and add it in there if
possible.

Computers you failed to connect to cant be hidden

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load a computer with out vnc or that is offline
2. Try to hide it (there is no option)
3. After hiding computers your thumbnails do not re-size

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There is no option to hide computers that you failed to connect to.
Also it would be nice if the thumbnails re-sized after hiding computers.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.2 on XP

computer names under thumbs

Pretty simple idea: give a name to a pc when adding so you can number your
classroom. the name should be visible beneath the thumbnails

Would like if all screens can be controlled at once

Not an issue, but a request. I'd like if there could be some way to be able to
control the mouse/keyboard of every single loaded PC in the grid with my input.

Example:
I load up 5 PCs in the thumbnail viewer, and click a button called "control
all" where I can move the mouse on all of them, and when I type, it types on
all of them.

Melhoria (improvement)

English
When a remote computer is off, viewer of it is static. But later when it is on
again, viewer not return, being necessary add again. It would be good if the
system tried the connection from time to time to verify if the remote PC
already is on-line again, and in this in case that, to continue the exibition
in real time.
