Can't find server in steam or in game about enshrouded-server HOT 6 CLOSED

Hey @KIRA009, hm that seems odd - the logs suggest the server is running fine.
Could you try finding your server here. Just enter your public ip and query-port.

Is the server running on the same network as the windows machine?

Check your log for this line:
Game Version (SVN): 497089
Mine is not updating and I think that is the problem. The game has to match the server version. Current is 511168

I am getting this in the top of my logs
enshrouded-updater WARN - Unable to determine latest version of enshrouded server! No update will be performed

Fixed my issue by changing the Game Branch from Public to public. Linux is case sensitive. So it wasnt finding the updates.

Thanks @Geekmeleon for responding. I checked the game version, and it is 511168. The game branch was also set to lower case public.

Could there be some problem with portforwarding and/or firewall rules?
But to be clear, did the website report something back. A json with some details about the server?

@cp-fabian-pittroff Turns out, it was the good old port forwarding. My ISP uses Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT), so port forwarding won't work unless I get a static ip, which they are hesitant to provide and I am not inclined to pursue at the moment. Thanks for all the suggestions, I should have checked this earlier :(
