electric-link's Issues

Container instead of elements?

Maybe it makes sense to do it like this:

<main is="electric-...">
  <a href="/foo">Bar</a>
</main>

Simplifies the explanation of the tool:

In most applications, you have some kind of layout file. It looks something like this:

<html>
  <head>
    ...
  </head>
  <body>
    <nav>...<...>
    ...
    <main>
      <%= yield %>
    </main>
</body>

So all pages are the same, except that part within

(and the title). What if we could just swop out that instead of replacing everything?

Structure of the package

electric-link/element.js

export default class ElectricLink extends ... {
}
ElectricLink.defaults = {
}

electric-link/index.js

import ElectricLink from "./element";

customElements.define("electric-link", ElectricLink, ...);
export default ElectricLink;

User:

import ElectricLink from "electric-link/element";
ElectricLink.default.foo = "bar"
customElements.define("electric-link", ElectricLink, ...);

or:

import ElectricLink from "electric-link";
ElectricLink.default.foo = "bar"
