The calendar weekday/weekend header is misaligned because the weekend days use fixed-pitch-serif face which may take more space than the default font. For the calendar header, it is important to use fonts with the same width for both weekdays and weekend days, to maintain the alignment with the underneath days.

So far the only mode that I've noticed behaving badly is elfeed, the RSS feed reader. I will probably send you a PR in the next couple days if you don't get around to it.

All I see is blonde, brunette, redhead.

I think you meant matrix-emacs-theme not matrix-theme-emacs.

Tabs are unstyled so they don't look very nice.

doom-themes have a very nice way of styling them that this theme can take inspiration from.
