Also, for fallback setting, what do you actually insert into that setting? the file name? Do you include ".svg"? I'm loading my files dynamically.

You may want to add to documentation that country codes need to be lowercase to be found, as my DB entries are capitalized and it didn't work till I made them lowercase.

I see that flags in svg format already have border radius applied (are rounded). What if I want to get a flat flag (without the rounding) or if I want to get the flag as a circle?

Is there any option to do so?

I think this flag for euskara language is Saint Pierre and Miquelon French comune. It's true they still use the euskara language.

But probably, Basque Country is the main place of the Euskara language.

Can you change that flag for this?

Set up Octane with FrankenPHP today in docker and noticed that all of my flags are using the default "?" fallback SVG, the flags are dyanmic and use this format <x-icon name="flag-country-{{ $country->code }}" class="h-6 w-6"/>

Confirmed that it's working when I use the static method of <x-flag-country-us class="h-6 w-6"/>

Anyone have an idea of why this may happen or where to start looking?

When I use dynamic version and pass variables. it's throwing an error. can you please let me know what's the issue.

Isn't it a bit confusing and opinionated ?

Why is English the flag of Britain, that would be confusing for an American.

Same for Spanish, would be confusing for a Mexican if you use Spain flag.

What's the standard/logic behind the flag choice for the languages ?

I am facing an issue that is when a language code provides on the dynamic component if this code is wrong or flag not settled it should return the fallback flag but it does not return that.

<x-dynamic-component component="flag-language-{{ $lang->code }}" />
or
<x-flag-language-zh-HK />

I know this can be a complex matter, but the flag of Great Britain is not the same as the flag of the United Kingdom. I would add that the use case for country-uk makes more sense, as it's also the top level domain associated with that general geographic area.
