The current returned search results are from the basic FCC database download file. These are all current active licenses.
There is a lag time before a call sign is returned to the pool from a ham becoming a silent key, and the entry in the main file being removed. But there is a note of the ham being deceased in ANOTHER file.

The current code doesn't check that file yet. Based on the data file structure, a regular expression filter will be needed to find it.

Currently, it's a simple menu, I would like to add a light bar menu to be able to make choices from a menu with more options, like an 'About', or choose a country, if that data is available.

Leaving the call sign entry field blank, then hitting ENTER/RETURN, will cause an error because there is no real check to see if the field is blank and how to handle that. Some type of check was tried but didn't seem to work correctly, so it was left out for now. But this does need to be added.
