docs-analyzer's Issues

Optimize Keyword navigator

Most users will want to look up an issue using all the keywords, rather than searching for a single keyword. For example: user taps a single button for "Open Innovation" that finds and highlights all the related keywords. Those keywords don't need to be visible on the left, they could be hidden in a tooltip.

In addition to the 5 issues, we could add:

Community & Leadership – members, participants, communities, cohort, users, attendees, students, wrangler, wranglers, leaders, captains, fellows, coordinators, partners, facilitators, mentor, educators, researchers,

Collaboration – network, networks, connect, connected, connecting, feedback, convening, convenings, events, collaborate, collaborative, coordinate, inviting, interviews, pulse, mentorship, proposals, takeaways, onboarding, practices, roles, consulted, darci, lessons, metrics, goals, norming, decider, template, accountable,

Add two new filters

Below issues, add these search filters:

People & Leadership – members, participants, communities, cohort, users, attendees, students, wrangler, wranglers, leaders, captains, fellows, coordinators, partners, facilitators, mentor, educators, researchers,

Collaboration – network, networks, connect, connected, connecting, feedback, convening, convenings, events, collaborate, collaborative, coordinate, inviting, interviews, pulse, mentorship, proposals, takeaways, onboarding, practices, roles, consulted, darci, lessons, metrics, goals, norming, decider, template, accountable,

Navigate results

Your little square shortcuts that appear below an issue button are an interesting solution to navigate and see the number of results.

Could they be a bit bigger? Could we highlight the one the user clicks? Or highlight all that are currently in view?

I wonder if next | previous arrows would be usefu to navigate the results, in addition to the dots or instead of the dots.

Switch to another highlighter library

Seems like a bug was introduced. After loading, text on the page gains a drop shadow. Some links move around. Experienced this on Chrome, but not Canary. @flukeout reported it on Firefox as well.

@flukeout, can you add anymore to clarify?

Scroll to first result

When a user clicks an issue filter button, it would be great to scroll to the first result. Currently, it doesn't feel like anything has happened.

Add new keywords

@KevZawacki - has a nice set of keywords for our issue areas.

Let's add "keywords" and "runners-up" from this doc to our filters. No need to remove our existing words.

Add a little help text

Before tapping a filter, we could change 0 matches found in 20 Etherpads to display some help text: "Tap a filter below, then browse the results on the right."
