"$" is currently hardcoded in \lineitem
. Not everyone wants to bill in USD.
In the meanwhile, here's a workaround.
The column heading "Description" is placed below the others (Date, Project, Hours, Rate, and Amount). See screenshot. Built using the default texlive &c packages in Ubuntu (well, Kubuntu) 24.04.
I get this output, unsure if relevant.

Thanks for the great template. I'm adapting it for use with my nonprofit organization and finding it pretty easy to work with, at least relative to other LaTeX classes I've tried to modify over the years!
One problem I'm seeing is that, when printed, the phone and envelope are bigger than they appear in the PDF.

Do you know what I might be able to do to make this not happen?

Using the example.tex
and default cls
as-is.
However, it occasionally does align/work when using the options below:
-shell-escape -file-line-error -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode
However, it's inconsistent. It would work maybe 50% of the time. Actually, at the time of this writing, it's not working at all. Doh.
I know nothing about TeX. I got the options from another git repo with another TeX template that seemed to work pretty good.
The date on the invoice appears to always use \today
, but once I've made the invoice, I'd like to set a date that can't change. Then even if I accidentally re-latex the file, it'll still be correct.
I am trying out this code in overleaf but i am having a problem when using the hours itemization without project. The format of the headers looks to be off with respect to the itemization with project and the "amount" ("Bedrag" in dutch) is displayed below the date instead of "Bedrag".
Furthermore i am trying to calculate more amounts such as the BTW (Dutch VAT) which is 21% of the total, and then to sum the total including BTW but the results only give me 0.00
I would love some help or explanation about these parts.
Thanks in advance!
