It's impossible to use the npm version of the plugin by running cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-appsettings --save since it's gonna write the wrong information in the config.xml file.

Name and versioning should be the same in package.json and plugin.xml

In iOS, all keys are lower-cased, particularly when AppSettings.get callback. But in Android, the dictionary object sent in callback does not have lowercase key names.

In general, I don't understand why keys are lower-cased in any case. Why not just leave them as is?

Please make sure to tag your release on GitHub, so we could install a specific version from the GitHub url.

Also try to push your releases on NPM. Would be very useful.
