PlaneFinder: Building a REST API around output from my hosted PlaneFinder.net remote node

Purpose

To provide a streamlined REST API of data captured by a local (remote) PlaneFinder.net node for consumption by other applications/services.

PlaneFinder.net is a service that, with the help of numerous small devices located around the globe, captures and displays aviation activity via transponders/ADSB-out/MLAT. This makes it useful at a macro level, but also useful (and just generally fascinating) at a micro level as well.

Host ureachable

Hi Mark, I downloaded the source code, compiled, run (simply mvn spring-boot:run) and got this error, IO Exception: No route to host (Host unreachable), generating and providing sample data.

It's been like that for a couple of days now. Is there a way around this or an alternative site?
