In order to make the upgrade to Rails 5 as smooth as possible it'd be nice if this gem could support both for at least one version. This way, we can upgrade the gem in a separate PR/MR from the Rails 5 upgrade.

I can help do this if there's interest.

Adding strong_migrations gem, I wanted to use their alphabetize columns trick from here but it conflicts with Octopus gem which we're using... but it's an awkward alias method chain anyway, and it really seems like it belongs in here, which we're already using successfully and mitigated some of our cross-platform linnux vs windows noise... but I think there's still some from column ordering! If I get around to it maybe I'll PR this myself, but thought I'd ping on willingness and/or see if anyone's already done it/considered it, and in a way that's not like the linked alias chain?

I'm trying to upgrade to Rails 6 but got this message:

    activerecord_sane_schema_dumper (= 1.0) was resolved to 1.0, which depends on
      rails (>= 5, < 6)

We'd love to use this in Rails 6! I'm sure other folk would be interested in Rails 7 support as well
