jinx's Issues

Post-install hook support

Some packages require to run some commands in the sysroot after being installed - Jinx should provide a way to do that. Example packages that need this are gsettings-desktop-schemas and gtk+-3 which need to compile a set of .xml files into a schema database, or regenerating the MIME database for packages that install MIME files.

Jinx build error (binutils)

So I was recently pointed out to this script for boot strapping, etc. After reading the documentation and setting up all the needed recipes for building binutils and gcc I seem to run into a few errors. I'm not sure if this has to do with the script or maybe the internal container itself. I've tried to clean, and rebuild the packages a few times to no avail.

If there's anything I may be doing wrong please feel free to let me know! I am prone to overlooking things

How is everyone even able to use this script exactly? I setup al the needed files respectively, and at a point in time of downloading things it fails at some point with git. I've been trying to resolve this to get an OS specific toolchain made. Trying to do it the manual way and despite following the documentation on os-dev binutils fails saying "Makefile:2329: .deps/eaarch64beastos.Pc: No such file or directory". Apparently I just do everything wrong despite following instructions
