I'm not sure what the issue is here. A small image (say 200px x 400px) that is stretched to fit the screen and then zoomed again 4x is obviously going to be blurry. The same will be true for any image you view in the Android Gallery.
However, if a large image (say 5-8mp) is set to TouchImageView, it should still appear pretty sharp even at 4x zoom. Are you saying this is an issue even for large images?

Sorry Mike for this manner less issue by me.I forgot that thing you said in your comment about the image size.Basically I am into an app which supports news paper reading through pdf.I am rendering the pdf's bitmap image as per its original size but its blurs when zoom is applied.But now I got the solution as per the answer.Here I am rendering the pdf 's bitmap image around 2 mp - 3mp which solved the problem.
If you any other solution regarding my pdf rendering you are most welcome to comment upon.
