Repeatedly getting the error

API key incorrect, Use the API key from Config->General in your 3rd party program

have attempted uninstalling, and reinstalling (which did not wipe preferences).
Then manually deleted the files:

rm /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Preferences/com.plexapp.plugins.sabnzbd.xml
rm /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Data/com.plexapp.plugins.sabnzbd/Dict

which did wipe preferences; re-entered preferences (username, password, IP, port, etc) - and still getting the same API key error. Where can i manually set the API key?

AMENDMENT:

I wanted to regenerate the channel logs (in case they were helpful) - so i deleted the sabnzbd+ logs in:

cd /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs/PMS Plugin Logs/

then to make new logs, i restarted plexmediaserver

service plexmediaserver restart

**on restarting, the issue seems to have resolved itself.

I suspect there is some bug or some config that means when you change the password (as I did) - even when you update the preferences, something is not refreshed... so try restarting plex server.

Just leaving this here, in case its useful for someone else.
