defold-lua-annotations's Issues

Automate annotations generation

Research how to listen/subscribe to new Defold releases on Github. Dependabot? Webhooks?

In the worst case a Github workflow task could run daily to get the latest stable release and check if Lua annotations were generated, if not then generate and publish them.

How to add extensions annotations?

I am using the GameAnalytics Defold extension which has no annotations, and right now I'm creating annotations manually in the file .defold/api/gameanalytics.lua under my project. Do you accept contributions for extensions? How to do it? I would like to contribute

Needs a little automated post-cleaning

Few points to improve to get a more clean version of headers:

  • Remove empty modules like camera, iap, shared_library etc.
  • Remove standard lua modules like string, package etc.
  • Replace space characters to underscores in file names.
