devlog's Issues

Add CLI command for starting com session

Goal:

devlog bc - devlog begin com session
devlog ec - devlog stop com session

It should work the same way as devlog b and devlog e, just working with ComSession::BEGIN and ComSession::END instead.

Add ability to track tasks and tasks within tasks

#15.03.2017 10:50:38 CodingSession::END

#15.03.2017 10:47:44 :-1: taskId task description is all the rest

manage tasks, or tasks that span a few sessions in the devlog.
support subtasks.

#15.03.2017 10:48:22 :+1: taskId

#15.03.2017 10:46:38 CodingSession::BEGIN

Devlog is a blockchain too: implement session signing

I don't want anyone to be able to change the devlog I wrote. Only the author should be able to.

Goals:

  1. Sign every session cryptographically and insert the signature into the devlog file it self.
  2. Devise a "proof of time" or "pot" algorithm to check the devlog signatures.

Future goal: Think about being payed for session time in BTC utilizing the devlog as proof of time or record of work.

Weekly reporting

makes sense to do it, as every company ii help, either needs a weekly report or a monthly one.

Add CLI command for toggling, based on the last session type

Goal is to be able to do devlog t and arrive either in a closed session, if it was open, or an open fresh session if it was closed.

Type of session can by default be the last session type.

For example, if the previous session is closed and is a CodingSession, then toggling would insert: CodingSession::BEGIN, etc.

The devlog real-life programming examples with full code

Goal:

Publish code I personally developed with the devlog technology.

Full projects with full devlogs.

You will really like this!

You will be able to see the code and read about the ups and downs of a lead dev in coding and communication action.

Some of the code will be old(ish), but I was not able to publish it sooner. You will still be able to learn from it.

And some devlogs may not come with full-code after-all, since it's still in use ;) but still a great read!

Parse the open session

Working on the #sevendays branch, discovered ii want the open session start time reported to me on the command line. So ii can see my current used up time for the day. So ii do not work more than ii am payed for.
