As we figuring out in parallel how to hand-over the mailing list, I think it would be nice to have a registration link on the website, for both:

• MIDL 2021 updates
• MIDL society updates

Right now there is about 2500 people in the list, coming only from the MIDL 2020 registrations.

This was one of the major communication issue of this year, we focused a too much on Twitter and didn't use other channels enough. The in-house mailing list should help a lot.

When I want to quickly check the papers from this edition ( https://2021.midl.io/program.html ), I first thave to scroll down through the program at a glance ; which isn't very useful anymore: Screenshot 2021-11-04 at 10-00-01 MIDL 2021

Perhaps splitting the pages in two would be better? For MIDL 2020 we ended-up with a scientific program ( https://2020.midl.io/scientific-program.html ) and program at a glance ( https://2020.midl.io/dates.html ) to keep things separate.

It seems that the study group on Tuesday, in the online calendar ( https://www.rob.uni-luebeck.de/midl2021_cal/MIDL%202021.ics ) is displayed at a different time than what is written on the study group program https://2021.midl.io/study.html

As far as I can tell (and confirmed by Alessa), it should be shifted earlier, to 20:00 UTC+2
