Welcome, we are Analytics Consulting, a team of data scientists at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB)!

We are responsible for helping CIB entities maximize their understanding of customers, products, services and operations. To do so, we analyse business issues / opportunities and solve them through a deep data analytical approach:

• We use technology to create value for real people in the community around us. Clients, shareholders and collegues are just some of the people who benefit from our work.
• We leverage on machine learning and data visualization technologies to extract insights from structured databases as from unstructured information such as text documents.
• We combine massive amounts of data, world-class computing power, machine learning expertise and state-of-the-art web technologies to develop smart applications and offer to our customers high-quality service and solutions.

To leverage unstructured information, we have created a Data & Artificial Intelligence Lab. There we develop our own research on fundamental AI areas and the solutions are made available to the rest of the Group. Many topics are of interest to the team among them the application of semantic and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
