Why are filesize limits not mentioned

for creating new file or new item in sharepoint we are seeing 94 MB limit.. if we exceed 100MB we are seeing a error related to chunking not available, if we do anything greater than 94 MB, then the connector is throwing error saying cannot exceed 94MB, this is only accepting file upto 90MB... why are these limits not mentioned in the documentation(am i missing something?), is the documentation no longer proactive, has it become reactive to the comments customers like me are giving?

Many will be citizen developers learning about dev ops.

So to get this working and have it would be helpful to include a detailed checklist

This checklist should include
These are the steps and this is the role or person you can get the answers from
Or can give you permission

What would be even more cool is Microsoft can make some azure function which
Give a custom checklist after checking the email is originating from the same powerapps tenant

This is a great start but not good enough to reach the finish line

All caps?

Hi,

My Flow picks up new records created in the Common Data Service, in the "Email Message" entity, to convert the contents of "description" field to plain text. The output I am getting in all in capital letters.
Is that unavoidable, or is there a setting I can adjust for the output?
Thank you.

Inability to call SPROC from Azure Logic Apps - can't find syntax for the parameters

Statement of intent:

I'm trying to automate a workflow, moving data periodically from a CSV in Sharepoint into a table in Azure SQL Database. I've gotten so far as 1) Formatting a JSON array, and 2) Creating a SPROC that successfully takes the text of the JSON Array, and imports it into the appropriate table.

Array appears like:

JSON = [{"col1":"col1Data","col2":"col2Data", ...}, <600-some more iterations>]

Invocation of stored procedure in SQL Management Studio looks like:

EXECUTE SprocName @json=N'<text of JSON above>'

===========================================

Problem:

Lack of documentation allowing me to properly format one of the following two SQL Connectors' parameters to link these two statements together:

Both Execute a Query (v2) and Execute a Stored Procedure (v2) require that parameters or query text be provided, but no indication of how said parameters should be formatted.

For example, in terms of executing a stored procedure that takes a single parameter @JSON, the following text "looks" correct, but results in an error:

"body": "@json=N'+@string(outputs('Convert_Rows_To_Json').body)+'"

Error: Failed to save logic app UpdateDomainCoverage. The template validation failed: 'The template action 'Execute_stored_procedure_(V2)' at line '1' and column '3148' is not valid: "The template language expression 'json=N'+@string(outputs('Convert_Rows_To_Json').body)+'' is not valid: the string character '=' at position '4' is not expected.".'.

I've tried a number of variations, for both the @JSON parameter on Execute Stored Procedure, or simply building the query from whole cloth in Execute SQL, to no avail. Suggestions?

Missing Actions

There's a big issue with some Actions missing, namely ListTaskLists, without which one cannot get their taskListId. And those are needed to get individual Tasks Lists. This page seems to document a lot more Actions, but many of them are not available in the Logic Apps Designer on Azure: https://www.carlosag.net/PowerApps/Connectors/Teamwork-Projects

The connection should be tested after adding it to Flow

Hi Team,

We should make a testconnection for this File System connection before showing that it is added successfully in Flow => Data => Connections => Add connection.

I made an "add connection" test for this connector and even if I typed the login credential incorrectly (username without domain), it can still be added to the connection list.

This cause later usage like: "The Folders and files are not available" or "The requested action could not be completed. Check your request parameters to make sure the path '' exists on your file system".

Undocumented OAuth2 restriction

Hello team,

I love the concept of connectors because one can securely use the client id and client secrets e.g. in the OAuth2-mechanism and let users do their thing.

However: There seems to be an undocumented issue here. The OAUTH2 flows supported seem to be only accesCode and (maybe) password. If I want e.g. the connector to log in as an application (Azure AD app created) in the Client Credential Flow (in Swagger it would mean flow: application) this does not work. Even if I edit the swagger live in the connector then save, it will revert to the accessCode flow. Please document this, it cost me a lot of trial-and-error to find this out. People are running into this and not getting any replies from Microsoft:
See PowerApps forum 1
and also
PowerApps forum 2
The user in the second thread resorted - like me - to using a plain HTTP action to get the token, which means storing the App Password in plaintext within the flow.

In my opinion this is an indirect security issue and should be at least documented. Also it would be great to know if there are any plans to support the client credential grant flow any time soon.

Teams connector does not trigger with reply messages

Hi,

my understanding reading:

Known Issues and Limitations Section Not Complete

In the "Known Issues and Limitations Section", it should be noted that at this time the Azure Storage Connector does not support operations where the Logic App is running under a managed identity and connecting to a storage account secured behind a firewall in the same region.

An example would be a storage account where the "allow trusted Microsoft services to access this storage account" option is checked under exceptions in the "Firewalls and Virtual Networks" configuration section. When trying to connect to a storage account in this situation in the same region, an HTTP action is needed to make sure the correct authentication against the storage account RBAC roles occurs.
