moodle-teams-bot's Issues

Moodle bot not working

I followed steps in azure to create and deploy the bot. The page to create app was app registration, i created the app, specified its web, added no url, generated secret for it. i the updated the data in teams settings. I downloaded the manifest zip file in teams settings, added to teams app store, instead of pulling just course notifications in the channel tab, it brought the whole moodle site in teams.

How can i solve this please.

Login manually option does not seem to work properly

When users select the 'Login manually' option to login, the do not receive a prompt to login to our Moodle site, or any other prompt. Clicking the option does nothing. If users click on the 'Login to Office 365' option they are able to login to our site using Office 365. If they click on the 'Login to Office 365' option and the close out of the login prompt, the prompt to manually login appears and users are able to successfully login to our Moodle site.

no reply from moodle assistant bot

Hi. I installed the teams bot but when I type a question it does not respond.

When I test in Azure -> Test in Web Chat

It says "Send failed. Retry."

Asked to Create Azure Account even though Subscription already exists

After setting up a new app in the Microsoft Application Registration Portal, adding the application ID and Bot Application Password, saving, and then selecting "Deploy to Azure":
The page from the tutorial (https://youtu.be/gbkJxf8FlfY?t=133) is not displayed, instead there is a page displayed saying "Create a free account".
I asked a coworker with more privileges in Azure to try and he got a page saying "Switch directories

You are currently signed into the '[REDACTED SCHOOL NAME]' directory which does not have any subscriptions. You have other directories you can switch to or you can sign up for a new subscription."

Not sure what we've done wrong on our end since we have an active Azure Subscription for our school, we are logged in, and have set up the app in the first step correctly too.

Can no longer create LUIS resources so Moodle BOT can't install

Hello, I'm trying to deploy the Moodle BOT however I keep receiving an error that my subscription does not support FO or SO. On googling this I came across an article on Microsoft Learn advising that from the 1st April 2023 new LUIS resources cannot be created.

Capture

Any idea on when or if the Moodle Bot is going to be updated?
