ejected-playground's Issues

Improvement: Update angular-playground from 3.4.0 to 4.0.0

I didn't create the PR because I thought it wasn't polite and a discussion would be welcomed.

I'd like to create a PR with the following changes:

  • Add concurrently as dev dependency;
  • Update angular-playground to 4.0.0;
  • Separate the Playground and Angular configuration;
  • Add a warning in README that this is a Windows project;

Separate the Playground and Angular configuration

Create a webpack.playground.config.js extending the webpack.config.js with webpack-merge.

I've already created it in example unix project with a custom merge strategy.

Add a warning in README that this is a Windows project

Add a warning saying that the project will only work on Windows since it was ejected on it.

When angular-cli ejects the project, it generates a webpack.config.js with absolute paths. To use the project in another platform you need to change some lines in the configuration file. Since this is on angular-cli, I opened an issue there.

I also created an unix version of this project, if you think it is valid to reference it in the README.

Angular Playground 5 + Angular 7 ?

I've tried sporadically since Angular 7 was released, but I've never been unable to get Angular Playground to work with Angular 7. Obviously (the context of this repo), I'm working with webpack, not angular-cli.

Has anyone tried this? Has anyone had success?

I'm not excited about the idea of converting everything my team's built over to Storybook, but this is the only thing keeping us from upgrading to Angular 7. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
