When I start the app, the background is first white, then changes around. Same for the buttons, colors change in weird ways until eventually settling at what I probably configured. This should be instantaneous.

It's difficult to get the colors rights and annoying to sync them just to see what you need change. Add a preview of the watch face to the settings dialog, so that you can see right away how it's going to change.

It's really hard to use the sliders and hit a precise setting, e.g. exactly 5 minutes.

Ideas:

• Make the sliders use the full width of the screen (they are unnecessarily tiny at the moment)
• Use a textbox instead
• Just provide 4 or 5 reasonable options, e.g. "10", "15", "25", "55" or so.

Pretty obvious, but when the app is freshly installed, everything is "undefined", which doesn't make sense.

Sometimes it looks as if the firs second is really a second and then the next is much faster, and then again 1s, and so on...have to figure out why. Happens in the dev environment and on the watch.

I feel like the pause button should just pause whatever phase the timer is currently in. "Play" should then resume the countdown (no reset in that case either).
