Metis Enhanced Version Metis Enhanced Downloads Steam Workshop APL-SA License

To run the mod out of the box, the latest versions of CBA A3, ACE3, ZEN are required.

Metis Enhanced is a collection of useful items and features to enhance the MilSim gameplay experience for Arma 3.

Components:

  • Armory: Allows you to save and load loadouts from a database across all server and missions.
  • Common: Chat commands for logged in admins.
  • Cords: Cords for PBW uniforms (BW Kleiderkammer).
  • Cutter: Grass and bush cutter ACE actions allowing to remove grass and bushes.
  • Drill: Animation and actions for exercise.
  • Engineer: Equipment for engineers like a Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC).
  • Flags: Flags with various colors which can be placed or carried by players.
  • Items: Markers/signs which are placable.
  • Map: Actions for the player to place his current map on the ground and on vehicles for others to look into.
  • Remove Snakes: Removes snakes from all maps.
  • Whistle: Adds a FOX 40 whistle.
  • Zeus: Various useful modules and shortcuts for Zeus.

Common - ACE medical CBA chat commands not working

Missing initialisation for armory

Hi MTS-Team,
wir würden bei der 412 gerne das Armory-Modul verwenden.
Zur Zeit versuche ich, das lokal vorzubereiten.
Eine Datenbank habe ich eingerichtet und bekomme auch eine Verbindung.
Leider fehlt mir scheinbar der nächste Schritt, um Armory zu initialisieren.
Ich habe gesehen, dass alle Funktionen mts_armory_initialized prüfen und aussteigen, wenn die false ist.
Die ist aber durchgehend false, egal, welche Funktionen ich aufrufe.
Wenn ich die manuell auf true setze, erhalte ich mit dem Muster "this addAction ["Equipment: Flecktarn", {["FschJg Flecktarn", _this select 0] call mts_armory_fnc_openArmory}, nil, 1.5, true, true, "", "true", 5];" zwar eine Maske, aber darin tut sich ebenfalls nichts.
Mir scheint, als fehlt da ein kleiner Schritt, den ich aber leider nicht finde.

Könnt Ihr mir da ein Beispiel geben, was nach
["armory", "armory.ini"] call mts_database_fnc_connectToDB;
aufgerufen werden muss?
Die Truppe der 412 und ich wäre sehr dankbar.

Add way to remove bush

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Removing Grass is great, but often bushes block the view in the same way.

Describe the solution you'd like
By removing bushes many positions can be utilized better. Please add an ability similar to remove grass that removes the bush im looking at.

Describe alternatives you've considered
This mod https://github.com/ampersand38/Brush-Clearing adds the wanted ability, but its remove grass feature is alot less useful because of the smaller grass cutter and slighty worse placement.

Zeus hotkey functions don't work properly

Description:

  • Some Zeus hotkeys don't work properly.
  • The functions are not executed where the unit is local, they're being executed on zeus' maschine.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Place a unit in 3DEN.
  • Go into Zeus, select the unit and press the change movement hotkey
  • It will not work, the unit can still move around

Zeus - ACE unconscious icon showing for dead AI

Description:

  • Sometimes (but likely) after killing an AI the unconscious icon appears for that unit in Zeus.
  • This system should not trigger on AI.
  • Even after deleting the unit, the icon is still present.

  • Spawn an AI with Zeus
  • Kill the AI
  • Sometimes the unconscious icon appears

Own remove snakes component

Extract the remove snakes config from common to another component so it can be easily removed if needed.

Also, apparently #1 is still not fixed? See RPT of #20

Add framework for playing sounds

Add a sound framework which allows easy use of playing music in loops from an object or just playing global 3d sounds in general.
Need to test playSound3D, last time I did, it was still buggy.

Map - Map duplication with ACE interaction

Description:

  • You can dublicate a map when you open the map again in the already opened map via ACE interaction.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Place map on the ground via ACE
  • Look in map/Open map on the ground via ACE
  • Open map via ACE in already opened map

Unfold map on vehicles

Add the ability to unfold maps on vehicles, especially for the BW Wolf

Syntax:

["classname of vehicle", [offset], [setVectorDirAndUp]] call mts_map_fnc_addUnfoldToVehicle

or something like that

Whistle - Sound not heared globally

  • in the multiplayer I wanted to use the whistle, but other players can't hear it
  • maybe it is because of

  • volume: Number (optional) Default: 1 Maximum value: 5 (limited since A3 v1.91.145537)

  • go on a multiplayer server with the mods and other players and "blow the whistle"

Zeus - ACE unconscious icon not updating position

  • ACE unconscious icon not updating position after moving the unconscious player.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Spawn an AI.
  • Control it with Zeus and shoot yourself unconscious.
  • Pick up your body and move it.
  • Go into Zeus. You will see that the position was not updated.

Maybe arma added new snake classes?

Remove snakes on all maps

Currently only on Altis, Stratis and Malden snakes are removed.

Maybe we can change the base class which all maps inherit?
