angular-formio-custom-demo's Issues

Browser goes into infinite loop

  • Use github version unchanged
  • Rating component is available and can be dropped
  • Drop any other component: All components disappear, and browser indicates an infinite loop

Issue is the same when you update to Angular 9.

Preview Panel Rendering

The Preview Panel doesn't render the component when using formio in a lazy loaded module.
And if an add the rating field in lazy loaded formio it doesn't load.
The Git Link
I've deployed it on Netlify

Issue using custom component template

After doing some work to get a select component working, I'm having some issues getting the template to work. It worked great with the rating, but when I changed the HTML to my own, it stopped doing anything.

I guess I'm asking how to make a custom template available to the builder/renderer. the file names have all remained the same etc. but it still won't grab the template anymore. and if i try to pass it as the template option i get:

Unknown template: app-test-component

Default value is not applied in the rendered form

Hi merobal,

I tried to apply a default value in the rating component from the form builder of your example and the value is not applied in the renderer. Is this some bug or is the expected behaviour of the angular formio component. Can we set the default value in builder?

Thank you!

Using ionic and custom components

I'm assuming that since i a m using ionic that is the main cause of the issues. but for some reason no matter which way i try to create this. I never have access to any of the variables of the form component. Currently trying to write a simple file upload since the regular is much heavier than i need and my api does not function in a way that the component plays nicely with. would be super nice to be able to start making some custom components but I still have yet to get a full custom component working at all.

I'm thinking it has to do with the ionic version of the webcomponents (not having the equivalent i guess, or really understanding what it does)

Any suggestions on how to proceed. this is pretty much the same issue i and some others were running into trying to get a custom select with api data working. (also still dead in the water with that.)

Any help with this would be super appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!
