Compilation of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles associated with immune responses to Small pox vaccines

This repository aims to provide a open source compilation of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles that have been previously reported to be associated with immune responses elicited by Small pox vaccines.
The HLA alleles were manually curated from available literature sources and were systematically compiled in a pre-formatted template.
For extensive understanding on the prvealence of these alleles in various global populations, global allele frequencies were retrived from Allele Frequency Net Database (http://www.allelefrequencies.net/default.asp) and documented.
