fettle's Issues

Cant add more than 1 word in website name

Describe the bug
When two words separated with space in config file, it fails.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1.in config file replace Facebook=.... with Face Book=..

Expected behavior
Display both words on front.

Issue appears as solved but it is not.

Describe the bug
When an issue is created, it appears to be closed when it is not.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create an issue with incident tag.
  2. Go on your status page and check the issue description.

Expected behavior
Either the description of the problem (the description of the outcome) or indicate that the issue is currently being resolved.

Followed the instructions but status is empty

Describe the bug
On my status page https://status.familie-dokter.net/ it says "Partial Outage" although the healthcheck returns success:
https://github.com/ddt3/server-status/blob/main/public/status/Redgrendel_report.log

This might be very much related to my inexperience with the Workflow and Actions (see below)

To Reproduce
Not sure where I went wrong...

Expected behavior
The status overview should match the actual status

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Manjaro
  • Browser [e.g. chrome, safari]: Chrome, Firefox, Edge

Additional context
I forked the repository and followed the instructions. As this was my first time to use Actions and Workflows I needed a bit more guidance than the one provide in the readme. Also some other things are assumed to need change, but are not mentioned.
Eg instruction does not mention that:

  • Workflow access to the repository is needed
  • Cname needs to be changed
  • Healthchek is are committed to repo as mehatab-fettle (is it supposed to be like that?)

I came across your status solution on google, really like it and also like the fact that it offers me a first use of actions.

I might be an idiot for not understanding all this, still I hope you can help me make this status overview work

Thank you!

Changing the interval shows less green bars in the page

I am using this project here https://github.com/OSMLatam/status and https://status.osm.lat/, and we configured each 15 minutes, instead of hourly.

We configured 5 months ago, but it only shows like las 20 days.

As part of the documentation, it has to explain that when changing the monitoring interval, the tail on the health check should be proportional, and not changed from 2000.
https://github.com/OSMLatam/status/blob/2b3aaa84fe71af3f79980c9d49a95a8a1bbd951a/scripts/health-check.sh#L54

For example, for each 15 minutes, it should be changed to 8640, I think.

Private Repository Support?

Hey there. Thanks for putting this together. Just curious if you've tested this on private repos. I realize that forks cannot be private, but Github has the ability to disconnect a fork from upstream to make a repo private. For the company I'm evaluating this for, we'd want to go that route.
