robotic_tutorial's Issues

Robot and ball does not appear in Gazebo and RViz after following the steps for the Gopigo Simulation

These are the steps I have taken and I would require your assistance on where I am going wrong.

Terminal 1:
roscore

Terminal 2:
At catkin_ws:
source devel/setup.bash
export ROS_NAMESPACE=gopigo_0000
roslaunch gopigo_football_sim sim.launch

Terminal 3:
At catkin_ws:
source devel/setup.bash
roslaunch gopigo_controller controller.launch robot_namespace:=gopigo_0000

Terminal 4:
At catkin_ws:
source devel/setup.bash
At src:
rosrun gopigo_controller ball_tracker.py

Modifications made:

  1. robotic_tutorial/gopigo_aruco/config/any_multi_marker/parameters_sim.yaml - the first marker_size change to 0.15
  2. robotic_tutorial/gopigo_description/urdf/base/0_0_0/gopigo_base.urdf.xacro - the first marker_ori change to 0 0 3.14

When I execute these commands, the robot and ball does not appear in Gazebo and RViz respectively. Adding on the the velocity and omega are being printed as zero.

I have used your ball_tracker_solution.py to run the simulation first but still no avail.

Could you kindly assist?
