The image-effect-renderer is lightweight package that allows you to run fragment shaders in your website using WebGL. It can be used to apply effects to HTML image or video sources. Zero dependencies.

Use a single Webgl Context for drawing to multiple 2d canvasses

Like BlotterJS it would be awesome if we can have the option to use the same effect for multiple canvasses. This way we shouldn't run into the issue of having too many WebGL contexts on a single page.
Most of the time we don't have to animate all the contexts at the same time, so added a play/pause state to start and stop a single instance would be awesome.

@reindermediamonks had some remarks on if this would actually be faster, so it would be great to make this optional to run some tests.
