actions-toolkit-action's Issues

Allow specific action scripts

Hello! This is such a great idea. An awesome use of the cloned repo in actions! I have a feature request that I'm happy to open a PR for if you're interested @mcolyer.

Right now the script that this action runs is based on its event. This can be a limitation given two workflows that do two unrelated things triggered by the same event. It'd be great to be able to tell this action what script to run! Here some possibilities, but there may certainly be others:

action "Some action" {
  uses = "mcolyer/actions-toolkit-action@master"
  # as an arg, the first arg will always be the file
  args = ".github/actions/some-script.js"
  # as an arg, using a --file tag
  args = "--file .github/actions/some-script.js"
  # as an environment variable
  env = {
    ACTION_SCRIPT = ".github/actions/some-script.js"
  }
}

This lets you decouple the event from the code itself, which is more in line with how actions work (since you can have the same action work for different events). Let me know what you think!
