Guide

Compile waifu2x-gui.ahk to waifu2x-gui.exe with ahk2exe
Download waifu2x-converter-cpp v5.2.4 64bit form here: https://github.com/DeadSix27/waifu2x-converter-cpp/releases/tag/v5.2.4 . Extract all files to where waifu2x-gui.exe is and organize models directories as following:

Now it is ready for use. The directory should look like this:

请问一下目前好用的模型文件都是哪里下载的呢？

您这边rlz里边有一些，然后我看到https://github.com/nagadomi/waifu2x/tree/master/models 这里有一些，还有别的地方有吗?具体来说的话，哪些模型目前比较好呢？

Image used as Jpg stays jpg

When using an image with a JPEG extension, it's upscaled as though all of the noise artifacts are part of the image. Quickly converting the image to a PNG before upscaling seems to fix this, and the image comes out noiseless.

You should probably either select this based on the model used or by the output extension requested.

Crashing with waifu2x-converter-cpp versions newer than 5.2 - "couldn't open noise0_model.json"

Simply put, version 5.2 was the last version of waifu2x-converter-cpp that worked with this program, but it has since moved on to version 5.2.2 which, when the command line output is enabled, gives the following error:

couldn't open noise0_model.json

Update to w2x-converter-cpp 5.3.1

The program needs modifications to be compatible with the lastest release. Argument calls and the missing webp library appear to be mayor issues.

I may perform a pull request later if I give myself time to learn and do it.
