flutter_camera_overlay

This package provides a simple camera overlay to aid capture of documents such as national ID cards, passports and driving licenses.

Default ISO Card formats

cardID1 - Most banking cards and ID cards

cardID2 - French and other ID cards. Visas.

cardID3 - United States government ID cards

simID000 - SIM cards

Getting Started

Import the file.

import 'package:flutter_camera_overlay/flutter_camera_overlay.dart';

Use with default style:

CameraOverlay(
    snapshot.data!.first,
    CardOverlay.byFormat(format),
    (XFile file) => print(file.path),
    info: 'Position your ID card within the rectangle and ensure the image is perfectly readable.',

How do I use it for selfie. Means overlay view should be circle. How can I change that OverlayFormat into circle

No Image Cropped

Your plugin does not crop image, it returns the original image

question, not an issue ! recognizing/snapping a bank check

This looks great ! can you provide some guidance on what it would take to tweak this to recognize and take a pic of a typical bank check (like when you deposit a check on your phone). I would like to take a stab at adding that.

want to take only the part inside the box, instead of the whole picture?

Currently, your app captures the whole picture, not only part inside the box.
How can I get the picture of the part inside the box?

video is misleading, area surrounded by box is not "black opacity-ed"

How does OverlayOrientation work ?

I find this useful package and trying to use in my project.

My project is for scanning cards which comes in landscape and portrait format.
I use the ratio = 1.60 and change the orientation to OverlayOrientation.landscape and OverlayOrientation.portrait.
But I could not get the overlay to rotate 90 degree.
Is the purpose of orientation for such purpose or I am using it wrongly.
