I'm trying to get an alternative firmware on a Home Depot Ecosmart A19 by Leedarson. It looks like it's also using a EFR32MG1P132F256GM32 and has a very similar layout to the IKEA tradfri module:

I've got it on a serial connection now and have been trying to force bootloader. Shorting REST to GND prints this out:

I've tried shorting all top/bottom pins off the PCB to ground and then powering on the unit -- I see you identified PA0 (PWM4) as force bootloader on some of the IKEA modules.

Any step I'm missing? I'm shorting PWM4 to GND with module off, applying power, waiting a second, removing short --- sending CR over serial connection.

What do you think about also providing a pre-configured Zigbee router firmware image for the IKEA Trådfri ICC-A-1 Module?

That important part is that DIY router can beat the performance of the popular CC2530/CC2531 based (ZHA 1.2) DIY routers:

Especially if use those EFR32MG21/ based IKEA Trådfri Modules that you found in newer IKEA Trådfri "Markus" products.

For using Tasmota zbbridge firmware on ESP8266 connected to IKEA TRÅDFRI ICC-A-1 module with same pins as Sonoff ZBBridge.

Silicon Labs EmberZNet SDK version 6.8.0 (6.8.0.2) was released this summer so it is new but not quite cutting-edge any more.

Please note that release notes say that EmberZNet PRO stack version 6.8.x requires latest Simplicity Studio 5 (SSv5) which is new.

Might be nice for developers and users to have the option to upgrade to the latest and greatest firmware available from SiLabs ;)

Major new Zigbee feature in EmberZNet 6.8 and later is support for concurrent multiple PANs (multi-PAN) on one coordinator:
