Currently using title and inverse classes as per Yihui's template. Probably easier to create separate classes for each slide type:

• title (grey background, no footer, black text)
• heading/image heading (blue background, no footer, vertically-centred text)
• text/annotate a screenshot (footer, vertically-aligned text)

Things like background and text colour should be declared in the class's CSS. Other text and colour overrides should be separate CSS tags.

Too specific/minimal for submitting to Xaringan themes.

Instead, package it, as per https://github.com/libjohn/dukeslides

There's a text heading slide (blue background) and image heading slide (full-slide image).

• Vertical centering of text – probably hacky padding
• Ability to make text black if it overlays a light image – .black[] tag
• Make sure footer doesn't appear over background image

Code fenced with triple backticks is rendered in mono, but the background of the chunk is not changed. If not automatic, then could add a tag via CSS.

Can set a bunch of title slide parameters, or make sure the Rmd includes the right code.

• First line bold ('Firstname Surname') – change H1 or create tag
• Text in lower left – padding applied in Rmd
• Ability to add logo to upper left – padding applied in Rmd

I think that a large y-height image pushes the 'footer' (coded as bottom-border) down. How to ensure the footer stays where it is and overlaps the image?

Something GDS-themed. Bunting? Post-its? Both?

Courier used in Google Slides template. GOV.UK guidance on an appropriate monospace?

Probably can't use the CO logo on the slides. Might need a function to call it and add it.
